The 3 Luxembourgs

Les 3 Luxembourg is an Arthouse cinema, located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, supporting independent films and not only French directors. It started out as a restaurant and has been renovated three times until it is what it is today. The cinema is made up of three projection rooms on separate levels. Quite small and hidden in the neighborhood, it doesn't attract many customers. The aim of this project is to make people come to the cinema more often and to bring back the days of watching films on the big screen.
We started from the observation that to bring people back to the cinema, it had to be made more interesting, cultivating, fun, interactive... So we decided to create a more cultural experience inside the cinema, and what is the most accessible to discover a culture. Culinary sharing.

Program

We decided to renovate the cinema by keeping two of its three projection rooms: the one in the basement and the one on the ground floor, but transforming the one on the first floor into a café and living cinema.
There will be different types of seating, allowing people to eat their way, and an open kitchen for customers to watch the chefs cook. There will also be large screens throughout the space, allowing customers to watch how food is made and videos from around the country, such as traditional ways of eating, living, speaking, etc.
